About the Client: National Arts Council (NAC) nurture the arts and make it an integral part of the lives of the people of Singapore. It also articulates visually its vision to develop Singapore as a distinctive global city for the art.

The Customer Challenge: NAC wanted to design and develop an intranet portal to be used as a single shared platform for interoffice collaboration.

The Solution and its implementation: Design & Development of Intranet portal using SharePoint 2013.

  • Setup & configuration of SharePoint 2013 environment.
  • Ui/UX Design.
  • Developed shared calendar, announcements, media gallery, shared documents and department & workgroup sites.
  • Enterprise Search – Integrated search of SharePoint Intranet & E-Registry (KRIS) with single sign-on (SSO).
  • Filing of documents from Intranet workspace into E-Registry.

Technologies used: sharepoint 2013 sqlserver windows server html5 jquery

The Outcome: The usability and intuitive interface of the portal made interoffice collaboration easy and also enhanced the Intranet hit rate. Incidentally this was one of the first SharePoint 2013 project in Singapore with social networking features enabled.
