Job Overview:

Web Synergies is seeking a Business Cutover Lead with extensive experience in driving the end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution for SAP S/4HANA implementations. The ideal candidate will have a strong techno-functional mindset, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience in managing cutover complexities across multiple SAP modules, teams, and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the cutover planning and execution phases for SAP S/4HANA engagements, coordinating business and IT teams.
  • Define and document the cutover strategy, playbooks, detailed plans, and checklists.
  • Identify and manage interdependencies between workstreams and systems to ensure smooth execution.
  • Collaborate closely with functional, technical, and business stakeholders to coordinate go-live readiness.
  • Conduct mock cutovers and dry runs to validate planning and mitigate risk.
  • Track execution against the plan and manage escalations during cutover weekends.

Required Experience:

  • 8+ years of overall SAP experience, with at least 2–3 successful SAP S/4HANA cutovers delivered.
  • Proven experience as a Cutover Lead across multiple complex SAP programs.
  • Strong techno-functional knowledge, with the ability to understand both functional process flows and technical dependencies.
  • Familiarity with data migration, batch jobs, downtime minimisation, and rollback planning.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in English; Japanese language skills are preferred (but not mandatory).
