Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Grant Management Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP Grant Management functionalities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in grants tracking, budgeting, reporting, financial monitoring, and close integration of SAP GM with SAP FICO modules to ensure smooth financial workflows and accurate grant-related reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and implement SAP Grant Management (GM) functionalities
• Manage grants tracking, budgeting, reporting, and financial monitoring
• Integrate SAP GM with SAP FICO (FI/CO) modules
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and align system configurations with business processes
• Provide expert guidance on SAP Grant Management best practices, regulations, and reporting standards
• Conduct system testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP GM and FICO modules
• Perform system upgrades and apply patches for continuous improvement
• Train users on SAP GM and FICO processes
• Support grant-related month-end and year-end closing activities
• Maintain process documentation, configuration records, and user guides
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of grant management processes

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Grant Management configuration, implementation, and support
• Strong expertise in SAP FICO (FI/CO), especially integration with SAP GM
• Experience with grant workflows including budgeting, fund allocation, and financial monitoring
• Excellent understanding of financial reporting standards, regulatory compliance, and grant regulations
• Ability to troubleshoot complex SAP GM and FICO issues
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

• SAP certification in Grant Management or FICO
• Project management experience and implementation methodology knowledge
• Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA or cloud-based SAP solutions
• Experience in public sector or non-profit organisations
• Understanding of full grant lifecycle management from application to closure
