Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Tech Lead with strong Japanese communication skills to join our dynamic team in Tokyo. The ideal candidate will have solid Salesforce development expertise, leadership capability, and a strong understanding of industry best practices.
This role requires effective communication in Japanese to participate in meetings, explain discussions to the wider team, and support smooth collaboration between stakeholders and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate and participate in meetings in Japanese, translating discussions for the wider team
- Lead Salesforce technical initiatives and guide development teams
- Conduct code reviews and ensure scalable, best-practice solutions
- Develop using Apex, JavaScript, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Design and manage Salesforce data models and database structures
- Work with REST/SOAP APIs and integration tools such as MuleSoft
- Review test cases to ensure quality and alignment with test plans
- Support DevOps and CI/CD processes for efficient deployments
- Utilise Salesforce low-code tools for workflow automation
- Apply software design patterns and development best practices
- Ensure Salesforce security standards and governance are maintained
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Tech Lead or similar role
- Strong proficiency in Japanese language (JLPT N3 or above)
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce development and architecture best practices
- Hands-on experience with Apex, JavaScript, and Lightning Web Components
- Understanding of Salesforce data structures and database design
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and MuleSoft integrations
- Ability to review test cases and ensure quality delivery
- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD methodologies
- Experience using Salesforce low-code automation tools
- Strong knowledge of software design patterns
- Understanding of Salesforce security features and best practices
