Role Summary

We are seeking experienced Mainframe Systems Engineers specialising in middleware technologies to lead a version upgrade and construction project for a critical Access Hub in the financial sector. This is a high-impact opportunity involving full lifecycle ownershipβ€”from design through to final migration.

Technical Focus

  • CICS V6.1 (Design to Migration)
  • MQ V9.3 (Design to Migration)
  • Mainframe Environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end version upgrade (Version Up – VUP) and construction activities.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle, from design and planning to migration and implementation.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including design documents and project plans.
  • Work within a mainframe middleware environment, focusing on CICS and/or MQ technologies.
  • Ensure smooth migration and system stability for a mission-critical Access Hub.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Version Up (VUP) projects.
  • Strong expertise in either or both CICS and MQ (CICS V6.1 / MQ V9.3 preferred).
  • Experience working within a mainframe environment.
  • Strong documentation and project planning skills.
  • Professional proficiency in Japanese communication.
