About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP PI/PO Consultant with 5+ years of experience in integration development and strong hands-on expertise in SAP PI/PO 7.5 Single Stack.

The role requires deep technical knowledge of SAP Process Integration/Process Orchestration (PI/PO), including analysis of existing PI/PO objects, Enterprise Service Repository (ESR), Integration Directory (ID), Advanced Adapter Engine (AAE) and Integrated Configurations (ICO).

The ideal candidate will also have a good understanding of SAP business processes across OTC, PTP and RTR, enabling effective alignment between technical integration mappings and SAP functional logic.

Experience & Core Focus

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as an integration developer with strong expertise in SAP PI/PO 7.5 Single Stack.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as an application developer in SAP PI/PO and EMIS, AEM Event-based Integration technologies.
• Strong experience in analysing existing PI/PO objects.
• Strong understanding of SAP integration architecture and development.

Technical Expertise

ESR and Integration Directory

Expert-level hands-on experience with:

• ESR (Enterprise Service Repository).
• ID (Integration Directory).
• Advanced Adapter Engine (AAE).
• Integrated Configurations (ICO).

Functional Knowledge

Good working knowledge of SAP business processes across:

• OTC (Order-to-Cash).
• PTP (Procure-to-Pay).
• RTR (Record-to-Report).

The candidate should be able to ensure that technical integration mappings are aligned with SAP functional logic.

Integration Technologies

Deep expertise in SAP-standard integration protocols, including:

• AS2.
• ALE/IDoc.
• RFC/BAPI.
• Proxy-based integration (ABAP Proxy).
• MDR Proxy integrations.

Connectivity & Security

Hands-on experience configuring on-premises connectivity, including:

• SSL certificate management.
• SSH keys.
• PGP encryption within the PI/PO Key Store.

Adapter Expertise

Strong expertise in handling PI/PO technical adapters, including:

• IDOC_AAE.
• RFC.
• SOAP.
• HTTP_AAE.
• REST.
• SFTP.
• JDBC.
• JMS.
• AS2.
• XI.

Data Transformation

Advanced experience in:

• Data conversion techniques.
• Complex message transformations.
• XML to Flat File conversion.
• JSON.
• CSV.

Mapping & Development

Master-level expertise in:

• Graphical Mapping.
• Creating complex User Defined Functions (UDFs).
• Java Mapping.
• XSLT.

Scripting

Knowledge of writing custom Java and JavaScript for advanced transformation logic within the PI/PO environment.

Web Technologies

Strong knowledge of:

• WSDL.
• XML.
• XSD.
• XPath expression languages.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and work with existing SAP PI/PO objects and integration scenarios.
• Develop and maintain SAP PI/PO integrations using appropriate adapters, protocols and transformation techniques.
• Design and implement complex message mappings using Graphical Mapping, UDFs, Java Mapping and XSLT.
• Configure connectivity and security components, including SSL certificates, SSH keys and PGP encryption.
• Develop and maintain integrations using AS2, ALE/IDoc, RFC/BAPI, ABAP Proxy and MDR Proxy.
• Work with XML, JSON, CSV and Flat File data formats.
• Align technical integration solutions with OTC, PTP and RTR business processes.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to support integration development, troubleshooting and solution delivery.
