Role Overview
Weβre seeking a dynamic Lead Support Specialist to oversee system and application maintenance while leading a team of specialists. This role demands technical expertise, leadership skills, and hands-on experience in IT application support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of engineers in a hybrid onshore/offshore model.
- Provide L3 incident support, including issue fixes, batch job recovery, and log file analysis.
- Manage BAU activities such as certificate updates, security patching, and audits.
- Oversee incident release management, ensuring smooth deployment with post-deployment health checks.
- Support infrastructure-level tasks such as database upgrades, storage optimisation, and disaster recovery planning.
Required Experience and Skills:
- 10+ years of IT application support and maintenance experience.
- Proficiency in Java development, Spring Boot, Microservices design patterns, and Azure cloud.
- Strong expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins and database concepts.
- Leadership experience managing teams of 10 or more members.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies.
