Job Overview:

We seek a skilled SAP GM Consultant with a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring, implementing, and supporting the SAP Grant Management (GM) module. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:

Configuration & Implementation:

• Configuring and implementing SAP GM functionalities, including grants tracking, budgeting, reporting, and financial monitoring.
• Integrating SAP GM with SAP FICO modules (FI, CO) to ensure seamless financial workflows and reporting.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Best Practices:

• Collaborating with stakeholders to define grant management requirements and ensure SAP configurations align with business processes.
• Providing expert advice on SAP GM best practices, regulations, and reporting.

Testing, Upgrades & Support:

• Conducting system testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and supporting issue resolution related to SAP GM and FICO.
• Performing system upgrades and applying patches to ensure continuous improvements.
• Supporting grant-related month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Training & Documentation:

• Guiding and training users on SAP GM and FICO-related processes to ensure effective system adoption.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation for SAP GM processes, configurations, and user guides.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identifying opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the grant management process within SAP.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years’ hands-on experience in SAP GM module configuration, implementation, and support.
• Strong expertise in SAP FICO (FI, CO), especially in integration with SAP GM.
• Experience with complex grant-related workflows, including budgeting, fund allocation, and financial monitoring.
• Excellent knowledge of financial reporting standards, regulatory compliance, and grant management regulations.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in SAP GM and FICO.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with business stakeholders and providing clear documentation and training.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
• SAP certification in Grant Management or FICO is a plus.
• Project management experience and familiarity with implementation methodologies are advantageous.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA or cloud-based SAP solutions.
• Experience in the public sector or non-profit organisations.
• Understanding of the complete grant lifecycle.
