Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst with 9+ years of experience to join our Bangalore team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, including Agile Scrum methodology, and experience in functional, integration, and regression testing.
Responsibilities include creating comprehensive test plans, writing test cases, and performing both manual and automated testing. The role also involves database and API testing, defect documentation, and training other testing resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop test plans for web services and web-based user interfaces.
- Perform manual and functional testing and recommend automation approaches.
- Conduct performance and database testing with tools like Tricentis qTest, Jira, and Subject7.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and developers to clarify functional requirements.
- Document test reports, defect reports, and ensure test coverage across all phases.
Qualifications
- Experience in Agile Scrum Testing methodology.
- Proficiency in SQL, HTML, XML, SOAP, JSON, and JavaScript.
- Experience with automation testing tools (Subject7 preferred) and test management tools (Tricentis qTest preferred).
- Knowledge of Jira, Postman, PL/SQL Developer, and mobile app testing.
