Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior ServiceNow Developer, ideally certified as a ServiceNow Implementation Specialist, with extensive experience in developing and architecting custom applications and ITSM modules within large enterprise environments. This role involves designing robust ServiceNow solutions to meet business and IT Service Management (ITSM) requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Apply innovative technology to business processes to develop new ServiceNow solutions and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to define technical solutions, including options, risks, and impacts.
• Communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrate strong expertise in the ServiceNow platform suite, with ITSM as a core requirement.
• Develop and implement applications, platform configurations, and customisations using a smart-customisation approach.
• Design, develop, and implement solutions for Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Asset, Knowledge Management, CMDB, and GRC modules.
• Manage and develop integrations with external tools and applications using REST, SOAP, and other web services.
• Develop custom workflows using Flow Designer and Integration Hub, including custom flow actions.
• Ensure compliance with ServiceNow and software development best practices.
• Provide business intelligence support using Performance Analytics and the Reporting engine.
• Create detailed technical documentation, including design documents, user guides, and developer notes.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users and junior developers as required.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
• Several years of hands-on development experience on the ServiceNow platform.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS (SASS), AngularJS, Bootstrap, AJAX, SQL, and related web technologies.
• 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development.
• ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, and CIS-ITSM are preferred.
• Good understanding of project management phases, tools, and collaboration with Project Managers.
• Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced technology environment.
• ITIL v3 Foundation certification is an added advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English with effective presentation abilities.
