Role Overview

Web Synergies is seeking an experienced SAP OTC Solution Architect to lead SAP S/4HANA Order-to-Cash (OTC) solution architecture for Japan deployment and global template enhancements within a large-scale automotive manufacturing programme.

The successful candidate will provide architectural leadership across the OTC value stream, ensuring global template consistency, localisation for Japan, seamless system integration and governance throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Role Objectives

• Lead SAP S/4HANA OTC deployment and global template enhancements for manufacturing programmes in Japan.
• Drive solution architecture, template governance, localisation design and implementation.
• Provide architectural leadership for enterprise-scale SAP transformation initiatives.

Core Expertise

• End-to-end SAP S/4HANA solution architecture.
• Deep expertise in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), including:
• Sales
• Delivery
• Billing
• Pricing
• Credit Management
• Rebates
• Integration with SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO), Materials Management and Logistics Execution System (MM/LES), and Production Planning (PP).
• Interface management using IDoc, API, EDI, SAP Cloud Integration (SAP CPI), and SAP PI/PO.
• Preparation of solution documentation, business process flows, functional specifications and test scripts.
• Architectural leadership across the Order-to-Cash value stream.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead solution discovery workshops and architecture design for Japan deployment.
• Ensure consistency between the global template and Japanese localisation requirements.
• Act as the design authority, governing solution standards and architecture decisions.
• Manage integrated architectures across SAP and non-SAP applications.
• Collaborate with Japanese business stakeholders and global IT leadership teams.
• Lead programme delivery across Blueprint, Build, Test, Cutover and Go-Live phases.
• Ensure compliance with Japanese statutory, financial and audit requirements.

Industry Experience

• Large-scale Manufacturing or Automotive industry experience.

Preferred

• Discrete manufacturing.
• Supply chain and logistics.
• Japanese manufacturing standards and operational practices.

Prerequisites

• Strong experience in global SAP template governance and enterprise architecture decision-making.
• Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA best practices.
• Ability to communicate complex architectural decisions clearly to senior business and IT leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering multi-country SAP S/4HANA deployments using a single global template.
• Experience working with Japanese OEMs and Tier 1 automotive suppliers.
• SAP S/4HANA certification.
