Role Overview

Web Synergies is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA P2P Solution Architect to lead Japan deployment and global template enhancements for a large-scale automotive manufacturing programme.

The successful candidate will provide architectural leadership for Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, oversee global template governance, drive localisation for Japan, and ensure seamless integration between SAP and non-SAP systems. This role requires extensive experience in enterprise SAP S/4HANA programmes, automotive manufacturing, and multi-country deployments.

Role Objectives

• Lead SAP S/4HANA deployment and global template enhancements for manufacturing programmes in Japan.
• Drive solution architecture, template governance, localisation design and implementation.
• Provide architectural leadership throughout the build and deployment lifecycle.

• Ability to prepare configuration documentation, business process flows, functional specifications and test scripts.
• Strong understanding of SAP MM integration with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Solution Discovery, Standard Conformity Workshops and Architecture Design for Japan deployment.
• Strengthen global templates while introducing localisation for Japanese business requirements.
• Act as the design authority, approve solution deviations and ensure governance compliance.
• Define integrated architectures across SAP and non-SAP applications, including MES, PMC, legacy systems and third-party tools.
• Collaborate with Japanese business stakeholders, Global Process Owners and IT leadership teams.
• Lead programme delivery across Blueprint, Build, Test, Cutover and Go-Live phases.
• Ensure compliance with Japanese statutory, audit and internal control requirements.

Industry Experience

• Large-scale Manufacturing or Automotive industry experience.

Preferred

• Discrete manufacturing.
• Supply chain and production planning.
• Quality management.
• Logistics.
• Cost management.
• Strong understanding of Japanese manufacturing standards and practices.
• Proven experience in global SAP template governance and enterprise architecture decision-making.
• Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA best practices.
• Ability to communicate complex architecture decisions effectively to senior leadership.
• Demonstrated success delivering multi-vendor global deployment programmes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering multi-country SAP S/4HANA deployments using a single global template.
• Experience working with Japanese OEMs and Tier 1 automotive suppliers.
• SAP S/4HANA certification.
