Job Overview:

Web Synergies is looking for a highly experienced SAP ABAP on HANA Lead Consultant to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of expertise in ABAP, OO ABAP, S/4 HANA, CDS, ODATA, and Fiori. You will lead the technical team, design and optimise ABAP objects, and support S/4 HANA upgrades and performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical team and guide ABAP developers in designing and developing ABAP objects.
  • Ensure coding standards and performance optimisation techniques are followed.
  • Provide technical direction to the ABAP team and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Work with both offshore and onsite Functional Consultants.
  • Interact with clients to understand their business requirements.
  • Support S/4 HANA performance improvement for ABAP objects.
  • Provide weekend support and support during Indian holidays as per roster.

Skills and Experience:

  • 8–10 years of experience in ABAP and OO ABAP.
  • Strong experience with S/4 HANA, CDS, ODATA, and Fiori.
  • Experience with SAP RICEF objects, BAPI/BDC/RFC/ABAP Proxies, ALE‑IDOCs.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with User Exits, BADIs, Enhancements, and Customer Exits.
  • S/4 HANA upgrade experience.
  • Ability to lead a team, resolve issues, and work collaboratively with Functional Consultants.
  • GRC experience and usage of Firefighter IDs/Solution Manager Charm.
  • Willingness to learn advanced topics and work proactively on improvement activities.

Certifications:

  • SAP certifications are desirable.
