Web Synergies is seeking an experienced Bilingual Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Data Cloud Project Manager to lead end-to-end programme delivery for a leading retail marketplace customer in Japan.

This role requires strong project management capabilities, experience managing distributed teams, and expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Data Cloud environments. The successful candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, and offshore teams while ensuring governance, delivery excellence, and production readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery and Governance

• Lead end-to-end project delivery, including planning, sprint execution, RAID management, change control, and release governance.
• Ensure successful project execution across Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery models.
• Manage production readiness activities, including cutover planning and hypercare support.
• Produce executive-ready communications covering project status, risks, and key decisions.

Team and Stakeholder Management

• Manage cross-functional teams comprising Architects, Developers, QA teams, Data teams, and Security teams.
• Coordinate with vendors and offshore delivery pods.
• Facilitate requirement gathering, backlog management, and prioritisation with Marketing, CRM, and Data stakeholders.
• Ensure requirement traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build strong relationships with Japanese stakeholders and operate effectively in both Japanese and English.

Performance and Governance

• Track and report key KPIs and OKRs, including:
• Time-to-market
• User adoption
• Activation rates
• Data readiness
• Deliverability metrics
• Enforce governance across:
• Data privacy in accordance with APPI regulations
• Consent and preference management
• Release management
• Environment strategy

Platform and Dependency Management

• Drive dependency management across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Platforms, and AdTech ecosystems.
• Manage contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Support CRM integrations, customer data platforms (CDP), and data governance frameworks.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of project or programme management experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Salesforce Data Cloud.
• Proven track record delivering projects using Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery models with distributed teams.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Jira
• Confluence
• Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Strong stakeholder management experience within Japan.
• Ability to communicate effectively in Japanese and English.
• Familiarity with:
• MarTech ecosystems
• AdTech platforms
• Customer Data Platforms (CDP)
• CRM integrations
• Data governance frameworks
• Consent management frameworks

Preferred Certifications

The following certifications are preferred:

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
• Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
• SAFe Certification
