Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Bilingual SAP SD (Order-to-Cash) Consultant to support and lead SAP ECC/S/4HANA Sales and Distribution (SD) business operations, issue resolution, and enhancement activities for a leading home appliance client. This role requires strong SAP SD functional expertise, excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and global teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support for day-to-day business process issues within the SAP SD landscape.
  • Gather, analyse, and document requirements from Japanese business users.
  • Coordinate communication between business stakeholders and global teams for production-related issues, bug fixes, and change requests.
  • Investigate and resolve EDI, IDoc, and interface-related issues.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
  • Conduct training sessions and user support in Japanese.
  • Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements to support business operations.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of SAP SD functional consulting experience.
  • Strong expertise in end-to-end SAP SD (Order-to-Cash) processes.
  • Experience handling Sales Orders, Delivery, Billing, Pricing, Returns Management, STO, MTO, and MTS processes.
  • Knowledge of serialisation, batch management, expiry handling, and product traceability.
  • Experience working with Japanese clients and business culture.
  • Ability to manage both implementation and support engagements across the project lifecycle.
  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
  • Professional communication skills in Japanese and English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
  • SAP SD Certification.
  • Experience working on Japan onsite and offshore projects.
  • JLPT N2 or JLPT N1 Certification (preferred).
