Job Overview:

Web Synergies is seeking an experienced Data Scientist with 4-6 years of experience in machine learning, statistics, Python, SQL, and data visualisation to join our team. In this role, you will apply advanced analytics models, work with large datasets, and collaborate with business partners to provide valuable insights and actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Business Partners to execute data vision strategy, providing thought leadership and developing analytical tools
• Apply advanced statistical techniques (especially AB testing) and machine learning models to solve business challenges
• Ingest, cleanse, and profile large structured and unstructured datasets to generate insights
• Use data visualisation tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Matplotlib to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Design and implement new experimentation methods, conduct research into modelling techniques, and continuously improve solutions

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
• Proficiency in Python (2+ years) and SQL (3–4 years)
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Matplotlib
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and machine learning techniques
• Ability to work with large datasets and utilise cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
• Excellent problem-solving, critical-thinking, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Data Science or related field
• Familiarity with Dash/Shiny frameworks, Git, Apache Airflow, and AWS SageMaker
• Experience in fast-paced environments and ability to deliver high-quality results
