Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Senior Consultant to join our dynamic IT team in Bengaluru. This role requires an expert in RICEFW objects, OO ABAP, and HANA ABAP technologies. The ideal candidate will be proficient in SAP interfaces, BAPI/RFC, ODATA, and Webservices, and will have a strong background in developing Smart Forms and Adobe Forms. The candidate will also work with performance tuning and debugging in SAP incident management.

Key Responsibilities:

• RICEFW Objects: Design and implement reports, interfaces, conversion, enhancements, and workflows using RICEFW objects, including Smart Forms and Adobe Forms.
• OO ABAP: Develop custom programmes using Object-Oriented ABAP and design patterns.
• Enhancements: Work with BADI, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework to implement changes and enhancements.
• Interfaces & Integrations: Manage and develop EDI-IDOC, BAPI/RFC, and ODATA interfaces to facilitate smooth data exchange.
• SAP HANA ABAP: Develop CDS Views, AMDP, and RAP Framework for data management and integration.
• Performance Tuning: Optimise and debug ABAP code, resolving complex issues, and ensuring the best possible performance.
• Solution Design: Provide technical solutions, prepare Technical Design Specifications (TDS), and participate in self/peer review processes.
• Incident Management: Collaborate with SAP teams to address and resolve SAP-related incidents and issues effectively.

Required Experience & Skills:

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in ABAP development.

Technical Skills:

• Strong expertise in RICEFW objects, OO ABAP, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and HANA ABAP.
• Extensive experience in SAP interfaces (EDI-IDOC, BAPI/RFC, ODATA).
• Proficient in performance tuning, debugging, and providing Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Ability to write optimised and structured code using new syntax features.
• Familiarity with SAP incident management and resolving complex issues.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
