Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented SAP Senior ABAP Consultant to join our dynamic IT team in Bengaluru. This role requires strong hands-on development experience with RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversion, Enhancements, and Forms) and deep knowledge of SAP S4 HANA. You will be responsible for designing and delivering complex technical solutions, engaging with functional teams, and leading development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• ABAP Development: Design, develop, and maintain Reports, Interfaces, Conversion, Enhancements, and Forms (including Smart Forms and Adobe Forms).
• SAP Modules: Expertise in integrating solutions with SAP SD, MM, and FICO.
• Interface Implementation: Lead BAPI, BDC, ALE/EDI, and IDoc implementations and provide support.
• OO ABAP: Expertise in developing custom solutions using Object-Oriented ABAP.
• Performance Tuning: Optimise ABAP code and implement HANA ABAP concepts and coding standards.
• Data Dictionary & SQL: Manage data dictionary objects, including tables, views, and stored procedures.
• SAP S4 HANA & OData: Develop CDS Views, AMDP, and OData Services for data access and integration.
• Project Leadership: Lead technical team members and manage projects independently.
• Collaboration: Work closely with functional teams to plan and resolve project issues and discrepancies.
• Documentation: Write clear technical specifications based on functional specifications, ensuring code quality and consistency.

Required Experience & Skills:

Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in ABAP development with a focus on RICEF and SAP S4 HANA.

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience in SAP ECC and S4 HANA implementations.
• Expertise in ABAP, OO ABAP, BAPI, BDC, ALE/EDI, IDoc, AMDP, and OData.
• Proficiency in performance tuning and advanced ABAP programming techniques.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, and RPA is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and lead technical teams.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
