Job Overview:

Web Synergies is looking for an experienced Tier 3 Network Engineer with 5+ years of experience in network engineering, particularly in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP. This role involves designing, deploying, and supporting network infrastructure solutions while troubleshooting complex network issues across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve complex Layer 2/Layer 3 network issues across Enterprise Environments
• Design, configure, and deploy scalable and secure network infrastructure solutions
• Provide Tier 3 escalation support for unresolved incidents from Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams
• Administer and troubleshoot enterprise-grade routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing technologies
• Implement network security best practices aligned with industry standards such as NIST and ISO/IEC 27001 to protect business-critical systems
• Maintain and optimise network infrastructure for high availability and performance

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering in medium to large enterprise environments
• Strong expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and Cisco wired and wireless networks
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification
• Proficiency with network automation tools such as Python and Ansible

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Cisco Viptela SDWAN
• Familiarity with FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAuthenticator, and FortiAnalyzer
• Knowledge of Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine)
• Experience with cellular gateways/technology (e.g., OpenGear, Cradlepoint)
