Web Synergies is looking for an experienced WordPress Developer with 7+ years of expertise in WordPress development, custom themes, plugin development, and SEO optimisation. In this role, you will develop, maintain, and optimise high-performance WordPress websites while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver user-centric solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and customise WordPress websites, themes, and plugins
• Implement responsive designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility
• Optimise websites for SEO, speed, performance, and best practices
• Provide SEO guidance during the design and development process to improve Google rankings
• Gather and analyse Google Analytics data and provide insights for design and optimisation
• Collaborate with marketing teams to generate insights and optimise marketing websites
• Support development tasks in React, AWS, or Python if needed

Required Skills and Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in WordPress development
• Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and SEO principles
• Expertise in Shopify development
• Experience with Google Analytics and a strong understanding of SEO optimisation
• Familiarity with responsive design and accessibility standards
• Ability to collaborate with teams and communicate design and technical recommendations

Preferred Skills:

• Interest or foundational knowledge in React, AWS, or Python
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver results in high-pressure environments
