Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP MDG Consultant with strong techno-functional expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) and Enterprise Master Data solutions. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in SAP MDG implementation, data modelling, governance process setup, integration strategies, and technical enhancements across SAP and non-SAP ecosystems.

The role requires strong analytical capabilities, stakeholder management skills, and experience working on medium-scale SAP MDG projects in dynamic enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse, design, develop, and implement Enterprise Master Data solutions using SAP MDG
• Work on SAP Master Data Management and Governance initiatives across Material, Customer, Vendor, and Finance master data domains
• Deliver end-to-end SAP MDG implementations with strong focus on governance and compliance
• Handle code changes in classes, methods, and BADI enhancements independently
• Configure data models, workflows, validation rules, and governance processes within SAP MDG
• Ensure SAP MDG solutions align with industry best practices and regulatory compliance standards
• Perform data modelling, process modelling, and UI modelling activities
• Set up and manage replication processes across enterprise systems
• Establish and maintain master data governance processes and frameworks
• Integrate SAP MDG with SAP Enterprise Information Management solutions and external systems
• Execute data model enhancements, functional validations, BRF enhancements, and UI enhancements
• Conduct feasibility and pre-feasibility studies by collaborating with business stakeholders
• Define technical strategy and best practices for global ERP deployment programmes
• Review technical design and development activities related to interfaces, enhancements, workflows, reports, and load programmes within MDG and SAP S/4HANA environments
• Provide integration strategies between SAP S/4HANA, SAP MDG, and non-SAP systems to ensure master data integrity
• Manage and implement changes using change control processes while ensuring SOX compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across business and technology functions

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in SAP Master Data Management and Governance
• Minimum two end-to-end implementations of SAP MDG across Material, Customer, Vendor, or Finance master data domains
• Strong techno-functional expertise in SAP MDG
• Hands-on experience with classes, methods, BADI enhancements, BRF, and UI enhancements
• Strong expertise in:

• Experience integrating SAP MDG with SAP enterprise information management stacks and external systems
