Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Expert in Finastra Global Pay Plus (GPP) to lead strategic payment transformation initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region and global markets.

This role requires deep domain expertise in payments, strong consulting capabilities, and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders across financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Cultivate and build long-term relationships with senior executive clients, including C-suite, business heads, and VPs within the Financial Services sector
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for payment solution transformation programmes, advising clients and shaping solutions to address complex business challenges
• Lead teams of consultants and business analysts to deliver end-to-end payment transformation programmes across Asia-Pacific and cross-border payment schemes with minimal oversight
• Collaborate with business units, operations teams, and technology partners to ensure seamless end-to-end system and process delivery
• Work closely with the Payments Practice Lead to develop payment offerings and support go-to-market strategies

Required Skills & Experience

• 10–12+ years of experience in payments strategy, operations, or consulting, with a proven track record in delivering transformation programmes
• Strong expertise in Finastra Global Pay Plus (GPP) or similar payment platforms, with 8–10 years of hands-on implementation experience
• Deep understanding of Asia-Pacific and cross-border payment schemes
• Extensive experience in Payment & Settlement Systems, including RTGS, NEFT, ACH, CITAD, G3 Fast, Payroll, and cross-border payment frameworks
• Excellent knowledge of ISO 20022 standards and SWIFT messaging, including MT 1xx series, MT 940, and MT 942
• Experience with payment hub implementations and local file formats
• Strong exposure to digital and traditional payment ecosystems, including ATMs, EFTPOS, corporate payments, and financial institution payments
• Proven consulting experience across business, IT, digital transformation, or acquisition within the payments ecosystem
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior leadership
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
