Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director / Solution Engineer – Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) to lead enterprise digital transformation initiatives across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations domains. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (D365 F&SCM), enterprise solution architecture, presales leadership, and large-scale ERP transformation programs.

This leadership role requires a trusted advisor capable of engaging with C-suite stakeholders, shaping digital transformation roadmaps, driving solution innovation, and leading end-to-end implementation lifecycles. The candidate should bring extensive experience in architecting scalable cloud-based ERP solutions integrated with Azure, Power Platform, AI/Copilot capabilities, and enterprise ecosystems.

The role also demands strong business acumen, client-facing leadership, global delivery management, and the ability to mentor high-performing consulting and architecture teams

Key Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-scale Microsoft D365 F&SCM transformation programs from presales through post-go-live support.
• Drive solution architecture strategy for Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Planning, Warehouse Management, and Procurement functions.
• Partner with executive stakeholders to align ERP and digital transformation initiatives with business objectives and operational KPIs.
• Conduct client discovery workshops, blueprint sessions, solution assessments, and digital transformation advisory engagements.
• Design scalable cloud-first D365 architectures integrated with Azure, Power Platform, AI/Copilot, third-party applications, and enterprise data platforms.
• Lead end-to-end presales cycles including RFP/RFI responses, solution estimation, proposal development, executive presentations, and proof-of-concept demonstrations.
• Define enterprise integration strategies, data migration approaches, governance models, DevOps pipelines, and testing frameworks.
• Oversee full program lifecycle activities including CRP, UAT, deployment planning, cutover management, hypercare, and optimization.
• Collaborate with Microsoft FastTrack, product engineering teams, and strategic partners to accelerate delivery excellence and client ROI.
• Drive innovation initiatives leveraging AI, automation, analytics, and modern digital technologies to improve operational efficiency.
• Build, mentor, and lead global cross-functional consulting, functional, and technical teams.
• Develop reusable solution accelerators, presales assets, architecture frameworks, and industry-specific best practices.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients across manufacturing, retail, life sciences, and industrial sectors.
• Support business growth initiatives by contributing to pipeline generation, account expansion, and strategic client engagement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience & Leadership

• 4 years of overall IT and enterprise application experience with significant focus on Microsoft Dynamics ERP platforms.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 F&SCM implementations and solution architecture.
• Proven experience leading large-scale global ERP transformation programs and multi-million-dollar engagements.
• Strong experience in presales leadership, client engagement, proposal management, and executive stakeholder communication.
• Demonstrated success managing distributed global teams and enterprise consulting engagements.

Functional & Technical Expertise

• Deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (D365 F&SCM).
• Strong knowledge of Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse Management, Planning, and Finance processes.
• Experience integrating D365 with Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, Microsoft CE, AI/Copilot, and enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Azure DevOps
• RSAT
• Lifecycle Services (LCS)
• Data migration strategies
• Enterprise integrations and APIs
• Cloud architecture and modernization initiatives
• Familiarity with AI/GenAI technologies, automation platforms, and modern enterprise digital transformation practices is highly preferred.

Industry Experience

• Experience across Manufacturing, Industrial, Retail, Consumer Goods, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceuticals, or Life Sciences industries preferred.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Certifications

• Relevant industry-recognized certifications in solution architecture, enterprise applications, supply chain management, and project delivery disciplines, or equivalent demonstrated expertise.
