Job Summary
We seek a Network Security Engineer with over 8 years of hands-on system and network engineering experience, preferably in the process control domain. This role involves network design and implementation, configuration of various network devices, system hardening, and network monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement networks using Cisco and Hirschmann devices.
- Configure firewalls and IPS using Cisco, Fortigate, and Palo Alto hardware.
- Harden switches, firewalls, and systems according to industry best practices.
- Implement Network Access Control (NAC) and manage vulnerabilities.
- Utilize Network Monitoring Systems like WhatsUpGold and SolarWinds.
- Ensure effective log collection for SIEM and 2FA solutions.
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience in network design and implementation.
- Hands-on experience with switching and routing.
- Extensive experience in firewall configuration and system hardening.
- Knowledge of NAC, NIDS, and visibility solutions.
- Proficiency in using Network Monitoring Systems.
Certifications Required:
- CCNP/CCIE
- Fortigate/Palo Alto/Juniper Certification
Additional Requirements:
- Full-time university degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to function as both a team member and a project leader.
