Job Overview:

We are seeking a HANA ABAP & HANA Modelling Senior Bilingual Consultant with extensive hands-on experience in SAP ABAP, ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, RAP, OData, AMDP, and S/4HANA-specific development. The role requires strong analytical capability, high technical proficiency, and the ability to collaborate with Japanese stakeholders.

Experience Requirements

• 7–10 years of full-time experience in SAP ABAP.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in ABAP on HANA, OData, RAP, and CDS Views development.
• Japanese Language Skills: Minimum JLPT N3 proficiency.

Business Process / Functional Knowledge

• Good understanding of business processes and integration related to SD and MM modules.

Soft Skills / Analytical Skills

• Strong analytical ability and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• High energy and enthusiasm towards problem-solving.
• Very good understanding of SDLC processes and ability to visualise process flow diagrams.
• Willingness to work in the defined shift (07:30 AM – 04:30 PM IST).

Technical Expertise – HANA Modelling & HANA ABAP

Core Development Expertise

• Hands-on development of RICEFW objects in HANA ABAP, ABAP on Cloud, and Core ABAP.
• Strong experience in:
  • RAP and OData services for reporting
  • Creating and extending APIs using Key User Extensions
  • In-app, Key-User, and Developer Extensions
  • OO ABAP
  • AMDP and in-line coding style in HANA ABAP
• Expertise in performance tuning and optimisation techniques in SAP HANA.
• Hands-on knowledge of OData, CDS Views, and annotations.
• Experience with Code Inspector, ATC checks, and related quality tools.
• Nice to Have: Knowledge of SAP Fiori.

Development Standards & Responsibilities

Core Development Responsibilities

• Prepare technical design using project standards and deliver development as per specifications.
• Estimate and validate development effort accurately.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain custom ABAP applications in SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Work on S/4HANA development objects including CDS Views, AMDP, RAP, and OData services.
• Support and troubleshoot standard SAP modules and custom enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design technical solutions, and deliver enhancements.
• Perform debugging, error resolution, and performance optimisation.
• Develop custom reports, interfaces, forms, enhancements, and workflows (RICEF-W).
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with internal quality standards.
• Support functional teams during testing cycles.
• Coordinate with Japanese stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure successful delivery.
