Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented Bilingual Network and Security Engineer with hands-on experience in network and telecommunication technologies to support and enhance our global IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Support production platforms across all products under the department’s responsibility, including support shifts, weekend operations, and Follow-the-Sun models.
• Plan and deploy upgrades to meet compliance, security, or capacity requirements.
• Design, test, and implement new solutions for products under direct responsibility.
• Collaborate closely with other IT teams to align on client requirements and expectations.
• Drive continuous improvement for efficiency, feature enhancement, and self-service enablement.
• Maintain a focus on simplification and cost optimisation through automation and AI tools.
• Uphold high standards of integrity and adhere to the organisation’s cybersecurity guidelines.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of network and telecommunication technologies including Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Arista, SkyHigh, and F5.
• Optional expertise in Web Gateway Proxy technologies, WLAN (Wi-Fi), and NAC deployment.
• Broad understanding of fundamental infrastructure areas such as Network, Operating Systems, Servers, Storage, DHCP, and DNS.
• Basic knowledge of coding languages (Python, Bash) and automation tools (Ansible) within a Continuous Delivery framework.
• Client-oriented mindset with strong production awareness.
• Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player with a collaborative spirit.
• Basic understanding of Asian markets and trading activities.
