AMADA established Amada (India) Pvt. Ltd. in April 2000, with its office in Mumbai, and this is a wholly owned subsidiary of Amada Co. Ltd., Japan. In the present day, the company shifted its base and has a functional Technical and Vocational Center in Bangalore. Further, to provide prompt sales and after-sales services to our customers, apart from Bangalore Technical Center, our sales and service engineers are also stationed in Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune & Vadodara.

Challenge:

• The client uses iSuite with a .NET Core application and database hosted at Azure Cloud through remote management.

Solution:

To enhance security and ensure smooth operations, we have performed the following actions for your Azure environment:

• Created an Azure subscription in the Southeast Asia Region, specifically in Singapore.
• Implemented the Azure Web Application Firewall (WAF) to fortify security for the application.
• Performed server-level hardening measures.
• Restricted Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) access to authorized personnel only.
• Enabled Azure Security controls and internal application controls to safeguard the environment.
• Secured the website using an SSL 2048 key length and TLS 1.2 cipher.
• Activated Azure backup and recovery services to ensure seamless application and database backup.

Results:

• Environment Access was restricted to the Web Synergies network, and security has increased.
