Launched to fill a need in the marketplace for an independent Drilling Waste Management service provider, STEP Oiltools has grown significantly since its inception in 2011 and is now proud to include some of the biggest names in the industry as our customers.

Challenge:

The client utilizes a remote management system to access an ASP.NET application and database hosted on the Azure Cloud.

Solution:

• Created an Azure subscription under the Southeast Asia Region, specifically in Singapore.
• Implemented server-level hardening measures to ensure robust security.
• Restricted Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) access to authorized personnel only.
• Implemented Azure Security controls and internal application controls to provide additional layers of protection for your environment.
• Secured all websites with SSL 2048 key length and TLS 1.2 cipher to ensure secure communication.

Results:

• Access to the environment has been restricted to the Websynergies network, and security measures have been enhanced to provide increased protection.
